Do you accept sponsored products for review?
No. I only review gear that I've purchased with my own money. This ensures my reviews are completely honest and unbiased. I want you to trust that when I recommend something, it's because it genuinely works well for me.
How long do you test gear before reviewing?
I use each piece of gear for at least several weeks of real-world use before reviewing. For camping gear, that means multiple trips. For everyday carry items, it means daily use over an extended period. First impressions can be deceiving.
Why don't you include affiliate links?
I want to recommend the best option for your needs, not the option that pays me the most commission. Affiliate programs can create unconscious bias, and I'd rather keep my recommendations pure. I may add them in the future with full disclosure, but for now, I prefer to keep things simple.
Will you review a specific product if I request it?
Maybe! If it's something that fits my use case and budget, I'll consider it. But I won't buy gear just for a review — it needs to be something I'd actually use. Feel free to suggest products through the contact page.
Do you cover budget-friendly gear options?
Absolutely. Not everything needs to be premium. I regularly review mid-range and budget options that deliver great value. Some of my favorite gear isn't the most expensive — it's the stuff that does its job reliably without breaking the bank.
